What makes a criminal defense firm better than others?

What makes a criminal defense firm better than others?

One factor is experience.  There are many that dabble in criminal law, and often those fresh out of law school will take criminal defense on without much knowledge or experience.  You will want a firm that has substantial jury trial experience, and that practices in the area of law your case involves.

Being certified, if appropriate, or being a member of the bar associations that practice in the same area of law as your case, is helpful.  Most associations share information and current updates on the law in a particular field.

Reputation.  Talking with clients that have their cases handled by the firm is invaluable, and that is where personal referrals can help you. If that is not possible, then carefully reviewing each of the firm’s client testimonials, on Yelp, Avvo, Google, or other verified sources, can help you get a feel for what people like, or don’t like, about how the law firm practices law.

What makes a criminal defense firm better than others?

Communication.  The keystone of the attorney client relationship is communication.  If you don’t feel that you can get information, and a patient explanation of each of the options available, the best strategy, and the chances of success for all of the various options, is crucial.  Don’t let a lawyer talk down to you, insult you, or have a “I’m the lawyer, and you’re stupid” attitude. Find someone you can have an even fair exchange of words and information with up front.

What makes us different.

We will put our reputation, our results, and our client testimonials up against any other firm.  We don’t advertise.  Our firm’s approach is to put the money that would otherwise be used to advertise, and use it to hone our skills, attending over 150 hours of training, seminars, and coursework in the cutting edge of Criminal Defense each year, all over the country, and using that education, and trial skills from decades of practice, to get clietns the results they hire us for.

It is the hope of our firm that you feel that, given the way we treat you with respect, and our professionalism in communacion, plus our results, will make you want to refer us to your friends, family, or anyone that faces the situation that needs a criminal defense attorney of the highest excellence.

Let’s get started, and we can meet and show you how we can take care of you and your case.  Contact us or call (877) 568-2977, anytime.
